Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Outta account and the data associated with it. You can delete your account directly in the app, or by contacting us if you no longer have access.
Delete from the App
- Open the Outta app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings, then Profile Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm.
Can't access the app? Email [email protected] from your account email address with the subject line Delete Account Request.
What Data Is Deleted
- Your user profile record (account metadata)
- Your household membership records
- Households owned by your account, including their subcollections (items, members, activity logs)
- Your Firebase Authentication account
What Data May Be Retained Temporarily
- Security and operational logs may be retained for a limited period where required for abuse prevention, fraud detection, or legal compliance.
- Any retained records are kept only for the minimum period required and then removed or anonymized.
We aim to process valid deletion requests promptly. If additional verification is required, we will contact you at your account email address.
